The Fall Classic is here. The historic World Series is upon us yet again. Will another Mr. October be born? Will another legacy forge in front of a national audience? Or will it just be good ol’ fashioned baseball? Any way you cut it, I think we’re in for a good series.
The Brewers are the better team. Best record in baseball gives them home field advantage and that may be enough.
The Rays are a solid team. They took out the Yankees as division champs, then eliminated them in the playoffs. They belong in the final series of the season.
I’m pulling for the Brewers. Neither team has ever won a World Series. This is the Rays second time in, and the Brewers first World Series. Milwaukee could use a championship. Wisconsin football is down, so are the Packers, and Giannis plays for the Heat. I’ve never been to a Brewers game, but the atmosphere looks great. I’m sure it’s a great venue for a ball game. And Bob Uecker is celebrated there, so you know it’s a party.
