Vice President Kamala Harris said, “You got to take responsibility for what happened in your administration.” She’s right. Accountability is important, so let’s take a look at the Trump/Pence and the Biden/Harris administrations in regard to Israel.

On December 6, 2017, President Donald Trump said, “Today we finally acknowledge the obvious: that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do. It’s something that has to be done. That is why, consistent with the Jerusalem embassy act, I am also directing the State Department to begin preparation to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.” Then on May 14, 2018, the US Embassy opened in Jerusalem. That is a very significant promise made and promise kept. Every president since Bill Clinton signed a security waiver that delayed any action on such a move. Trump is the first to get it done and the first to officially recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Our Embassy belongs in Jerusalem.

In May of this year, the Biden/Harris administration built Hamas a pier. Hamas is a terrorist organization engaged in war with our ally Israel. Hamas is responsible for the rapes and murders of the October 7th terrorist attack on Israelis at a music festival. Instead of working to eliminate Hamas, Biden/Harris rewarded those terrorists with a pier. The poorly conceived idea was for the pier to handle off-loading supplies, but the pier failed. Getting supplies into Gaza was not even a problem in the first place. Israel allows trucks of international aid to enter Gaza every day. Once the aid is in, Hamas takes it, which is the problem. Biden/Harris spent over $300 million on an unneeded pier for our enemies and if that weren’t embarrassing enough, the pier failed.

As Harris said, “You got to take responsibility for what happened in your administration.” Ok, please do.

Trump froze $6 billion in Iranian assets. Biden/Harris unfroze that money, which was then used to finance Hamas’s war against Israel. The current White House claims that $6 billion wasn’t spent on terrorism, but there is no reason to believe such a fantastic lie. Funding terrorism is a foreign policy that no American should support. Either through a pier or an enormous lump sum, Harris will continue to waste resources on Israel’s enemies.

When asked about Iran attacking Israel, Harris said, “don’t.” That’s it. She must’ve thought her one-word answer would show strength. Well, it didn’t because Iran did. They didn’t listen to her and why would they? Contrast that with the Trump administration’s move to eliminate Iranian General Qasam Soleimani, which was successful and brought about only a window-dressing retaliation that resulted in no casualties.

I’ve studied the maps” is how Harris tried to qualify her expertise on Israel, claiming that Israel shouldn’t enter a specific part of Gaza. A few weeks later, Yahya Sinwar, the cowardly leader of Hamas, was killed in the area that Harris said Israel needs to stay out of. Imagine that. Let’s hope the conclusions drawn from Harris’s “I’ve studied the maps” line were wrong because of her incompetence and not the result of Hamas relaying information to American Democrats.

Biden/Harris held up weapons sales to Israel. Trump never did.

Harris is running contradicting ads in Michigan and Pennsylvania on her policy on Arabs’ latest war on Israel. Trump isn’t.

The contrasts on Israel in this election are stark. Harris and Trump couldn’t be any farther apart on this. Kamala Harris will empower Israel’s enemies. Donald Trump has been, and will continue to be, an ally to Israel.
