There are often calls for amending the US Constitution, but few that are serious.
In Virginia this year, Democrats are pushing a hard political powerplay to amend Virginia’s constitution to allow for hyper-partisan gerrymandering of new districts for congress. Although this process is called amending, the April 21 Referendum does not meet the definition of the word as the new proposed congressional districts do not improve Virginia’s representation in congress. They are specifically meant to dilute Republican voters with districts that are not even meant to be contiguous communities. One of the new districts looks like a Blue-Tailed Lobster. It’s sad. The Virginia Way is officially dead.
Vote No on April 21.
