National Public Radio (NPR) CEO Katherine Maher claims she doesn’t see leftwing bias in NPR’s reporting, which is a tough sale. On CNN she said, “Please show me a story that concerns you.” Ok, no problem. Here’s a few examples.

Promoting Transgender Propaganda
NPR shared propaganda from TransYouth Project. Study: Trans teens have high satisfaction, low regret with care : Shots – Health News : NPR.

The study focuses on regret of a group of families who have children involved in TransYouth Project beginning at ages 3 to 12, which is sick. The average participant’s age of this specific study is only 16. The article fails to admit that transgender doesn’t exist, but that’s asking too much from NPR. More realistically, the article makes no mention that kids can’t consent to gender fantasy. The only argument against transgender lies presented in the article is that as adults these kids who have been forced into this nightmare will regret it. Well, 16 ain’t an adult, so the one concern isn’t even addressed in either the study or the article.

NPR’s propaganda piece concludes with, “Virtually all major U.S. medical organizations, including the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, support access to gender-affirming care for young people.” It’s like they are hard pressed to find anyone who knows transgender doesn’t exist. “Virtually all” doesn’t tell the tale. Journalism would’ve required a more thorough description of the opposing side.

Changed Definition To Shield Democrats
After two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth during the Biden Administration, NPR contorted; “While two consecutive quarters of negative growth is often considered a recession, it’s not an official definition.” That is just plain false.

Words have meaning. Recession had a definition until leftists needed to bailout Joe Biden’s economic policies, nicknamed Bidenomics. Two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth is a recession and an easy definition. This definition has a clear line. It is or it isn’t. If Biden didn’t want a recession, then he needed to change policies, not definitions. Journalism would have held words to their accepted meaning.

Hunter Biden Laptop
NPR had a policy to not cover news on or related to Hunter Biden’s laptop. Maher later admitted that was wrong, saying in a congressional hearing, “I do want to say that NPR acknowledges we were mistaken in failing to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story more aggressively and sooner.”

This shouldn’t be dismissed as a trivial example. It illustrates blatant bias. Any damaging news about Hunter Biden would also be damaging to Joe Biden, who was at that time gearing up for his re-election campaign. Had that been Don Jr.’s laptop, then it is safe to bet that NPR and legacy media would not have put out a policy statement explaining they are not interested. Journalism would’ve required a minimal amount of legwork before a story is deemed publishable or bunk.

That’s just three examples. I found those online in a few minutes. There are plenty more.
