Another Maryland man is making news. First it was over immigration and now it’s about alleged fraud.

The Trump Administration had Kilmar Abrego Garcia deported back to his home country of El Salvador. It was not a mistake. Garcia is a not an American citizen and he was here illegally. The executive branch has the discretion to carry out their policies.

But legacy media and Democrats still can’t understand that Garcia shouldn’t be here. It was a mistake to call the deportation an error, but because an attorney representing the government did so, the news media has been able to run wild with the constant claim that Garcia shouldn’t have been deported. That attorney has been fired for not properly representing the government in this case, a fact that is under-reported at best.

Legacy media created the term “Maryland man” to describe Garcia. He’s not an American citizen; he’s been living in Maryland in defiance to national immigration laws. So now Maryland man is tossed around like it is some sort of official legal classification. It’s been used so much that U.S. Senator from Maryland Chris Van Hollen flew down to El Salvador, at tax-payer expense, to check in on his non-constituent, which makes no sense at all. Their photo op together was done in what looked like a hotel’s restaurant and Garcia was wearing street clothes, not prison garb, all of which is odd.

Garcia’s case gets more puzzling from there. A judge orders Garcia back, where he now sits in prison in Tennessee on human trafficking charges and his lawyers want him to stay in prison. That’s right. He’s not an American, but his lawyers believe the best place for him is taking up space in our prisons. We’re supposed to encourage immigration to our country for skilled people, not criminals who want to be entirely dependent on the government.

Garcia needs to be deported today, but a federal judge this afternoon delayed ruling on what to do with this guy. He’s just a waste of government expenditures, so let’s get rid of him.

Another Maryland Man Appears
Also this week, another Maryland man is attracting headlines. U.S. Senator Adam Schiff of California is the latest Maryland man to catch President Trump’s ire after Fannie Mae Financial Crimes Investigations concluded that Schiff “engaged in a sustain pattern of possible occupancy misrepresentation on 5 Fannie Mae loans” from 2009 to 2020.

Trump posted the below message-

Schiff can’t have it both ways. He can’t enjoy ballot access in California while enjoying tax breaks for having his primary residence in Maryland. If true, then that is a pretty easy fraud case.

Of course, Schiff’s defense is to go on the offense about Trump. Schiff posted on X- “Since I led his first impeachment, Trump has repeatedly called for me to be arrested for treason.” Schiff then says Trump’s claim is a “false allegation.” But the allegations come from Fannie Mae, in a memo dated July 14, Trump is not the source.

It’s interesting that Schiff would begin by pointing out his failed attempt to convict Trump on the ridiculous impeachment charges drawn up by Schiff. What were they again? Attempted collusion with Ukraine from one phone call? Was that the charge? I know it wasn’t Russian collusion despite all the promises from Schiff of evidence in “plain sight.” As it turned out, Schiff could never list any evidence, he dumped Russia as soon as he could, and then went with a completely different event altogether.

Sen. Adam Schiff may have to adopt the sympathetic Maryland man label and get his buddy Sen. Chris Van Hollen to show up at court with him. After all, the California Senator is just another Maryland man.
